UrbanSim Users Group

The UrbanSim Users Group is a community of practice and joint development effort for planners and researchers using UrbanSim, an open-source Python platform for building statistical models of cities and regions that forecast real estate development, demographics, and land use patterns under different policy scenarios.

Similar in spirit to Zephyr’s ActivitySim consortium, the group brings together agencies and researchers to share experience, coordinate development priorities, and jointly support the open-source UrbanSim codebase, maintained by the Urban Data Science Toolkit (UDST) at github.com/UDST/urbansim.

More info coming soon — contact us if you’d like to get involved.
