The mission of the ActivitySim project is to create and maintain advanced, open-source, activity-based travel behavior modeling software based on best software development practices.

Request for Qualifications

The Zephyr Foundation is releasing a Request for Qualifications (available here) to establish a Consultant Bench for continued ActivitySim software development. The goal of the ActivitySim project is to improve activity-based modeling practice and to reduce the overall costs of activity-based model development and maintenance by developing a shared software platform, community, and knowledge base. The codebase is available at github.com/ActivitySim/. Through this RFQ, Zephyr is seeking qualified consultants to provide as-needed software development, feature implementation, and related technical work under task orders. Interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications per the criteria in the RFQ.

Partners

The ActivitySim project is led by a consortium of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), Departments of Transportation (DOTs), and other transportation planning agencies. The consortium provides technical direction and resources to support project development. All member agencies make an annual contribution of $35,000US to the effort and help to make decisions about development priorities. New member agencies are welcome to join the consortium.
